Happy & Safe Labor Day - Offices Closed for Labor Day Weekend
Wishing you a happy and safe Labor Day Weekend from President Ed Hettermann, the Village of Johnsburg Board of Trustees & Staff. Village offices are closed and will re-open on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:00a.m. in observance of Labor Day weekend.

Saufen und Spiel 2019 - Weekend
The Johnsburg Community Club, Inc, the Johnsburg Community Men’s Club and the Johnsburg Lions Club present Saufen und Spiel 2019. Starting Friday evening, September 6th thru Sunday, September 8th, Johnsburg is the place to be for food, music, games and good old fashion fun! A treasured tradition for many years, this weekend honors Johnsburg's German heritage and proudly displays the spirit of our hometown. Featured events include the Black Light Bean Bag Tournament on Friday night, Banjo Beer Night on Saturday night and the parade on Sunday afternoon. Fall Brush Pick-Up
The Village's Fall Brush Pick-Up will begin Monday, September 16th at 7:00a.m. All brush must be placed by the road no later than 7:00a.m. on the 16th of September, use this weekend to gather all your brush. Please follow the guidelines outlined in the Fall 2019 Newsletter that arrived to your residence or contact Village Hall (815) 385-6023 with any questions.
14th Annual Touch-A-Truck
The McHenry Township Road District is hosting their 14th Annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, September 21st from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. at McHenry Township Park. Bring the family and explore trucks, tractors, heavy equipment, emergency vehicles and much more. Free admission for everyone!

2nd Annual Burg-B-Que - Saturday!
The Village of Johnsburg and the Community Affairs Committee invite you to the 2nd Annual Burg-B-Que event. On Saturday, September 28th, at Sunnyside Memorial Park, grill masters will have the chance to show off their skills and win prizes! Register now at the Village Hall, more information updated weekly with times and prizes.
Celebration in the Park
The Village of Johnsburg and the Johnsburg Community Affairs Committee are busying making arrangements for this year’s Celebration in the Park event on Saturday, September 28th at Sunnyside Memorial Park beginning at 5:00 p.m. Invite your family, friends and neighbors for a fun filled evening with live music, delicious food and cold beverages. There will also be games, hayrides and FIREWORKS! This is truly a community celebration! Donations, in any amount, from individuals, groups or businesses are still needed and would be greatly appreciated.
