Note: The Village of Johnsburg follows Robert's Rules of Order at all Village Board and Committee meetings.
Mission: Enhance the Village's image and promote community awareness through effective two-way communication between the Village, its residents, local community organizations and surrounding governmental entities. Host engaging social affairs to create a true "Hometown With Spirit" attitude and encourage involvement in Village activities and initiatives. Survey our residents to develop a comprehensive plan for implementation of park, recreational facilities and programs to meet current and future needs of our community. Facilitate committee-to-committee communication within the Village.
The Events Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30PM (Combined) or 5:00PM (Events).
The Parks & Facilities Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30PM (Combined) or 6:00PM (Parks & Facilities).
Meetings are rescheduled from time to time. Please call the Village Hall at (815) 385-6023 to confirm a meeting date & time.
