Scout Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser - Tomorrow
Cub Scout Pack 214 & Troop 459 invite you to their annual pancake breakfast and silent auction fundraiser Saturday, February 17th from 9:00a.m. to 11:30a.m. at the McHenry Moose Lodge #691 - Loyal Order of Moose (3535 N. Richmond Rd). Money raised through this fundraiser will allow the troop and pack to offset the rising cost of
outings, camping, equipment and other various

Start your Jr Skyhawk Football adventure with JJSF (incoming 1st graders-8th grade)! Registration is now open and will run through for flag registration February 29, 2024 and tackle through May 31, 2024. Click here for further information.

Johnsburg Sled Hill - CLOSED
That’s right, the Village of Johnsburg has a Sled Hill! Sunnyside Memorial Park (1515 Channel Beach Ave) and it is available to all residents. Please ensure to comply with the posted Sled Hill Rules or click here for Municipal Code Ch. 8. Currently CLOSED, please check back later.

Johnsburg Outdoor Ice Rink - CLOSED
The Village of Johnsburg has the Ice Rink! Rescue Squad Park (2410 W. Johnsburg Rd) and it is available to all residents. Please ensure to comply with the posted Ice Rink Rules or click here for Municipal Code Ch. 8. Surface preparations are completed in the a.m. hours for afternoon and evening skating, if snow accumulates on-top we ask to stay off the ice until preparations for day are completed. Currently CLOSED, please check back next year.

McHenry County Lead Safe Homes Program
The mission of the program is to eliminate childhood lead poisoning in all low and moderate income privately owned rental and/or owner occupied housing populations throughout McHenry County. This goal will be achieved using identification and control of lead-based paint hazards. They are committed to making healthy homes and safe environments available to all children aged 5 and under in the county by addressing a multitude of hazards in area homes where children are or can be present. Click here for further information regarding residents with their homes’ lead contamination which will result in happier, healthier children. 

McHenry County Residents - Looking for Mental Health Support
Drop-In Activities are available to all McHenry County residents, age 18 or older, free of charge. There is no need to schedule or call ahead; just drop on in! QUESTIONS? Open Burning of Landscape WasteProhibited!
Keep in mind that the burning of landscape waste is not permitted at this time, violators will be fined. Landscape waste can only be burned during the months of April, May, October and November provided that setbacks and other requirements can be met. Recreational fires and ceremonial fires are exempt but may not be larger than 3’x3’x3’ and cannot contain leaves, grass or shrubbery clippings. Click here for the requirements.
