Important Recycling Note
The future of curbside recycling is at risk, we need to work together as a community! Today, one non-recyclable item included in your recycling bin can spoil an entire load of good materials. Help protect the future of recycling by educating yourself about acceptable recyclable materials. Click here to learn how you can help make a difference.

Safety Notes
Don't Give the Gift of Food Poisoning. Use a food thermometer to make sure meat is cooked to a safe temperature, refrigerate food within two hours, and wash your hands frequently when handling food.

Traveling for the Holidays? Be prepared. Use a designated driver to ensure guests make it home safely after holiday parties. Make sure every person in the vehicle is properly buckled, put that cell phone away, and be prepared for heavy traffic or possibly heavy snow.

It's Better to Give Safely. When choosing toys for infants or small children avoid small parts that might prove to be choking hazards. Be aware of dangers associated with lithium batteries, see which toys have been recalled.
