Welcome to our newly expanded web site, which has been redesigned to provide Johnsburg residents with improved access to information on their community and the many services that it has to offer. If you are visiting this site as a potential new business or resident, we welcome you as well!

Our Village is very proud of the many desirable opportunities it offers to live and work here. Including well-planned, attractive neighborhoods, abundant open space, strong schools and community organizations, architectural charm, good municipal services, and unmatched spirit.

Johnsburg is fortunate to have frontage along two of Northern Illinois most desirable corridors; the Fox River/Chain of Lakes waterway system to the east; and the fast developing Route 31 corridor to the west. Between those boundaries and our neighbors to the north and south lies Skyhawk County - our Village of nearly 7,000 Johnsburg residents who take pride in their community, and their schools.
